About Cinod-T Tablet
This medication is a combination of two anti-hypertensive agents, namely Cilnidipine and Telmisartan. It aids in treating high blood pressure. The medicine stops the calcium activity on the blood vessels and the heart. As a result, there is an increase in the supply of blood to the heart.
In case of any severe reaction or side effect to this medicine, it is best that one should consult their doctor as soon as possible. This drug should not be taken unless it is prescribed by a doctor. Before taking this tablet, give detailed information on allergies, other health issues and conditions to the doctor.

What are the dosage instructions?
Missed Dose instructions
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next scheduled dose, then the missed dose can be skipped.

Contact your doctor immediately if an overdose is suspected. You may require immediate medical intervention if the overdose symptoms are severe.
How does this medication work?
Cinod-T Tablet is a calcium channel blocker. It works by inhibiting the entry of calcium into the cardiac and vascular smooth muscles and prevents the contraction of the muscles and thereby reduces the blood pressure. Along with this action, it also displaces angiotensin II with very high affinity from its binding site at the AT1 receptor subtype, which is responsible for the known actions of angiotensin II.

Hypotension

Cinod-T Tablet should be used with caution in patients who have suffered a heart attack recently. Suitable dose adjustment and safety monitoring may be required in such cases.Interaction with Food
Grapefruit juice
Consumption of grapefruit juice is not recommended as it increases the concentration of Cinod-T Tablet. Symptoms like dizziness, headache, swelling of hands and feet should be reported to the doctor on priority.
