Dilantin 50 MG Injection helps in the treatment of worm infections and Schistosoma infections. It is prescribed to treat all stages of schistosomiasis caused by all Schistosoma species pathogenic to humans; clonorchiasis and opisthorchiasis.

You must consume this drug along with foods. Consume this drug with a glass of water. Also, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding must take medical help before consuming this drug.

Your doctor may monitor your blood counts and liver function before you start taking this drug throughout your treatment. Do not skip the doses and finish the prescribed course, even if you start to feel better. Stopping without completing the course of this drug may increase your risk of further infection.

Take exactly as directed for full course of medication. Tablets may be chewed, swallowed whole, or crushed and mixed with food. Increase dietary intake of fruit juices. All family members and close friends should also be treated.
