Flupenthixol belongs to the family of medications known as thioxanthenes. This medication is used in the treatment of schizophrenia. It is thought to work by affecting nerve pathways in certain areas of the brain to help correct certain chemical imbalances that cause the symptoms of schizophrenia.
I do not see any reason in your case with the history you gave.

Hello, franxit contains two drugs:-flupenthixol 0.5mg and melitracin 10mg.
Flupenthixol is available under the brand name of fluanxol/spenzo (0.5mg)
though melitracin is not available per se, but it belongs to the class of tricyclic antidepressants. Other medicines of this class like amitryptilline or imipramine are available.

She can stop fluanxol 0.5 mg after taking it regularly and a slow withdrawal is needed. Try half the dose for a week and hen half the dose and finally on alternate day and and then stop.

Regarding antihypertensives and covid vaccine currently there is no evidence that it’s contraindicated. Simply put yes you may continue propranolol (ciplar) as per your current prescription.
