If it hasn't responded at all to Terbinafine (Lamifin) and Itraconazole, there is possibility that it may be something other than fungal infection. Please see a Skin specialist for the same rather than continue taking these medicines for such long durations.

It all started with minor itching and redness spreading around thighs in July then after applying many creams like itch guard, ring out, fluconazole, terbinafine etc .but no help. After 15 days it started with small red spots which started forming circles. I went to doctor he gave me fungikem 100,1 capsule daily in night for 5 weeks and luliconazole cream too. But my itching was tremendous it only got controlled by ring out. After 5 weeks I stopped taking medicines and again after 10 days symptoms returned drastically and itching is so severe now that it is spreading to anus now. I went to dermatologist he gave me itatruf 100, 2 capsules daily and. LEED m Daily 1 tablet along with lulizole cream and niofine dusting powder for 1 week but no relief from itching however red spots were controlled. Now after 1 week he gave me xevor tab 1 daily and glowid tab twice daily but no relief. I'm dying because of itching can someone help me, I'm not able to walk.

Dear lybrate-user,
The medications you have been prescribed are for fungal infections and are correct for your condition. You will need to get medications which will control the itching to make yourself comfortable till the anti fungal medications take effect. You will need to follow one single course till the infection is completely cleared. Changing medic...more

Tips
1.keep the infected area clean and dry. 2. Don't scratch the affected areas because this could spread the infection to other parts of your body
ringworm usually disappear with allopathic creams but recurr after you stop using it. So I advise you to take homoeopathic treatment to cure permanently. No chance of recurrence. No side effects. You can consult me online for homoeopathic treatment without side effects.
