I have been suffering from cholesterol problem. My doctor has prescribed rosuvastatin and fenofibrate tablets for me at bed time. Is this right treatment.

Yes, if you have hypercholesterolemia the drugs to be taken are rosuvastatin and fenofibrate tablets.

From last 2 years my cholesterol triglyceride and uric acid is but by taking medicine it normalize but when I do not take medicine its again rise any remedy. Now I am taking rosuvastatin with fenofibrate 'udilive and febustat 40.

I am 48 years of age. I am on regular medicine like Thyronorm 125 once daily. Rosuvastatin and Fenofibrate (5mg 160mg) for cholesterol once daily and Telmisartan 20 mg again once daily. I consult Dr. on regular basis once in 3 months. But sir, in between I feel like I am loosing my balance just for mili second and than ok. This continuous for whole day and it happens only when I stand. Its not when I sit or sleep.

I am a healthy, active 57 years old male having gone under CABG for TVD in July, 2014 and prescribed metoprolol XR 50, Clopidogrel ASP, Hepaford, Rosuvastatin with fenofibrate and Urican D. Presently I am experiencing ED for the last 3 years. Could it be the side effect of drugs I am taking and is it treatable for the normal sexual life as appropriate at this age.

Yes urimax d is related to your ED. Want to know in detail about your USG KUBP with residual volume status. If not much bothersome urinary problem, then replace urimax d to plain urimax.

My father is 52 years old. Last month his lipid profile test for blood indicated that he has ldl- 151, hdl-35 and triglycerides- 418. He has been taking rosuvas 10 (rosuvastatin) and lipicard 200 (fenofibrate). Mu question is how long he has to take these medicines and if cholesterol levels become normal after that, can he quit these medicines or any of these two medicines. He is 55 years old by the way.

He has to take these medications on a long term basis
dose might be decreased after normalisation of lipid profile but not to be abruptly stopped.

Razel is required after a heart attack, If is fenofibrate, it is required if triglycerides are above one thousand.

Probably unwise to take medicines. Rosuvas is helpful in blockage patients after they fall sick. F is fenofibrate. It is required for people with triglycerides above 1200. Please post more information for further opinion.

When triglycerides are below one thousand, dietary treatment is better for health than fenofibrate treatment. Reduce items that are converted to triglycerides in liver, like sugar, alcohol, grains and other water soluble calories.
