Your yeast infection may not be due to your medication. Homeopathy has durable treatment for your skin ailment. No side effects. Maintain proper personal hygiene and wear cotton loose garments as the accumulated sweat is harmful. Don't scratch. Ointments/lotions give temporary relief. Please consult through “lybrate text consult” for proper diagnosis, prescription and advice.Rs 149/

Hello, thanks for the query.
The forxiga (dapagliflozin) belongs to a comparatively newer class of drugs called sglt - 2 inhibitors. There are other similar molecules like campagliflozin, canagliflozin. I am not sure if any othese drugs are being considered by the insurance companies. You may check the same. If none of those molecules are covered then doctor may look at dpp - iv inhibitors like saxagliptin, vildagliptin, linagliptin and tenelegliptin as alternative. Thanks.

Hello. Your cousin's symptoms can be explained by the diabetic medications. Oxra causes weight loss, upto 2-4 kg on an average, though it can cause more weight loss also. However it is better to rule out other causes of weight loss and loss of appetite before attributing them to medicines. Kindly consult you doctor and get evaluated properly. Thank you.

Mr Tanmay Ghosh, Thanks for the query.
Your fasting blood glucose level has shown good reduction (from 280 mg to 130 mg). Ideally FBG should be < 100 mg. You can achieve the same by continuing present treatment plus a stricter diet control and exercise. SInce there is no other information given about weight, height, diet pattern or extent of daily exercise, it is difficult to either predict anything or give an opinion.
In treatment of diabetes, drugs play some part, but major part is pla...more
