Take, simple, breakfast: Poha, phulkas, with vegetables, sandwich ,milk,
Lunch & dinner:
Rice (white/red/ brown) or, phulkas, or, khichadi (white / brown/broken rice) or oatmeals, chapaties,or Ravi balls,(1000-1300 calories)
Liquid: 3/4 litters of water/day or from assorted sources e.g.milk, juice,milk shakes,
Vit 'C' -gooseberry, guava,oranges, tomatoes to improve immunity & to prevent constipation,

You can try this -
1. 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic). Or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 2. Don't drink water before meals. This can fill your stomach and make it harder to get in enough calories.

Yes, if you take that in excess, you will get uric acid accumulation in joints and you will develop gout too.
