Hello.
Medical abortion is safe with a high success rate if done before 9 weeks of pregnancy.
However, in 5% of cases, there may be incomplete abortion and heavy bleeding requiring hospital admission and surgical management.
So it's very important that you do medical abortion following proper protocol and in guidance of a local gynaecologist who can take care and manage in case of emergency.

you are very right about normal range of tsh levels. At 8.5 milli units/ml, with normal t4, the condition is classified as sub- clinical hypothyroidism. This normally is not treated with any drugs. Hello, THEY should betaken only under a gynaecologists supervision as there is a set protocol which can assure completion of abortion and not otherwise. Complications can be heavy bleeding. So don't try on your own.
