Can we take maxvoid plus 8 mg and silodal 8 together? Are they same or different.

No, do not take the two medicineds together. They both contain the same medicine silodosin. However maxvoid plus also contains another drug dutasteride.

Silofast (Silodosin) is an alpha adrenergic receptor blocker medication, used to treat the Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms of Prostate enlargement.It is also used in the medical management of small lower ureteric or uretero-vesical junction stones. There is no indication for the medicine for kidney stones.
Please advise her to drink plenty of oral fluids.

Pain in prostate after erection for upto 2 days since 4 years diagnosis: benign prostate hyperplasia prescription: rapilif 8 mg (silodosin 8 mg) 0-0-1 for past 6 weeks I see 50% improvement in the above medicine but from past 3 weeks I get little bit pain in prostate for 2 ½ hours after 12 hours erection what should I do now? My doctor prescribed silodal d8 combinatory capsule for bph for 30 days initially & continued for another 60 days as per his advise. Now he has reduced dosage to silodal 8 for 60 days. There has been considerable relief after taking this medicine. I have noticed mild bottom right side abdominal pain continuously from the time I started taking silodal d8. I want to know whether it is side effect of medicine or symptoms of appendicitis. Please clarify.

Silofast contains silodosin which is a alpha blocker. This may help in spontaneous expulsion of lower ureteric stone but it should be only taken with the advice of qualified urologist. But it never dissolves the stone.

Please get a uroflowmetry test.
Continue cap silofast 8 mg at night if it is not causing postural hypotension.
