Yes you can take all these medications in place of telma. These all have the same compound. Telmisartan. Also you should do diet and exercise DASH stands for Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension. It is an eating plan that is based on research studies sponsored by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI). These studies showed that DASH lowers high blood pressure and improves levels of cholesterol. This reduces your risk of getting heart disease.

Lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
Telmisartan plus Amlodepine (TELMA AM) is a good and safe combination. The other tablet mentioned is Losartan + Hydrochlothiazide. That too is good. Doctor must have changed to newer drug for getting better control. But if she is not comfortable with that, she can take the earlier combination. Thanks.

You should probably have a scan of your kidneys and consult a nephrologist to make sure that there are no renal causes apart from diabetes. Telmisartan can transiently change creatinine levels but it protects the kidneys. How is your blood pressure. Try to consult a doctor.
