The effect of tetanus vaccine will be for one year and if you keep repeating every month for 3 months and thereafter, every year once the effect can last upto 5 years

Yes the missed vaccine can be given as catch up vaccine. Give your child 2 doses at interval of 4 to 8 weeks followed by single dose every 5 years.
