Duvadilan tablet is to be taken only if you have preterm labour pain and can only be prescribed by a doctor. Donât take it long term if not needed. Low molecular weight heparin can be taken along with it, if prescribed.

Hello,

Heparin and immunoglobulin injection are fine.

Since you had 2 IUDs, you have to be carefully monitored and looked after in this pregnancy.

For now, take the treatment as advised and the injection might be reduced in future if everything goes well.

I'm facing 2nd trimester miscarriage (1st was pprom17. 5 weeks, 2 and was twins unknown reasons at 20w) 3rd preterm delivery at 28. 1 weeks due to urine infection. That time I had cervical cerclage and taken duvadilan tablet. I'm going to plan pregnancy now, (normal conception) my doc told about heparin injection from conception to delivery can I take duvadilan tablet and heparin injection together? Does I really need heparin injection? What are the indications for taking heparin injection? Is it safe to use daily? Does I need any blood test before starting heparin?

Canât comment on your heparin prescription without seeing proper reports. U can take a call consult if you wish and definitely you can take duvadilon and heparin together but for sure you need to get a circlage done again and good progesterone support in pregnancy with proper rest in pregnancy.

How many miscarriages did you have. Heparin can be the cause for the discharge you are having. Did you start it on your own or on advice from doctor?
And you don't have to start as soon as your pregnancy test is positive. It can be started around 10-12 weeks too. Do check with your doctor about stopping them.

hi lybrate user, once you are diagnosed as APLA syndrome their is high possibility of early Delivery before 9months, small size of baby, yes it is lower birth weight as compared to other normal females.
