Vitamin d2 is suitable for vegans, but vitamin d3 can be derived from an animal source or lichen. However, you should not worry about the source if it is a matter of right treatment and right nutrition. If still in doubt, you may discuss your health issue over a call to get a right and effective medical advice.
Thanks.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Check your vit d level to know whether any change or not - have vit d rich food like organ meats, eggs, fish such as salmon, tuna, mackeral (twice or thrice a week), vit d enriched milk & dairy products, cereals
- also the best source is natural sunlight daily 15-20 min in the morning between 10-1or so
- if levels are still low then consult your doctor regarding the supplements which are to be taken.

If you are considering these vitamins for boosting immunity against covid 19, you can definitely use these. Vitamin c is water soluble and will not be stored in body and has to be taken daily. Vit d3 can be taken weekly at 60kiu dosing.

If you have leg pain then you have to rule out the causes for having leg pain. First of all check your weight and your haemoglobin levels, as anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having leg pain though there are no issues with the knee joint or back pain. If not if the pain radiates down the back of thigh and legs then it might be due to sciatica. Kindly consult the nearby physiotherapist. Hope you recover soon from the leg pain.
