Rabies infection is caused by the rabies virus. The virus is spread through the saliva of infected animals. Infected animals can spread the virus by biting another animal or a person.
In rare cases, rabies can be spread when infected saliva gets into an open wound or the mucous membranes, such as the mouth or eyes. This could occur if an infected animal were to lick an open cut on your skin.
You should seek and immediate medical consultation if symptoms are persisting.

the way you are describing the wound is not clear,
if there is a scratch, I want to know if there is any abrasion, it will be better if you send me a pic so that I can see for myself.
Previously you got vaccinated 4 months ago, now if there is a scratch by an animal you will have to take anti rabies vaccine again. It is called as re-exposure prophylaxis.
Usually after 3 months of vaccination if there is a dogbite we recommend this re-exposure prophylaxis.
