lybrate-user, Lipicure tablet is given in a person who has increased lipid level (cholesterol) particularly total cholesterol, LDL & Triglycerides. In a person with diabetes most often there dyslipidemia (increased lipids). Therefore such a tablet is given. Fenofibrate is more often used when triglycerides are increased. Thanks.

2. Reduce body wt
3. No smoking/ tobacco
4. Diet - no ghee/ butter, have mix of vegetable oils - mustard, til, ground nut, olive oil, have more green vegetables and fruits, have whole grain atta, no fried. Fast. Spicy / processed/ junk food. No sugar, potato, rice
5. 30 mts brisk walk daily 6. Deep breathing exercise for 10 mts daily
7. Meditation daily for 10 mts. 6-8 hrs of sleep at night
8. Expose your body to sun for 15-20 mts daily after some oil massage...more

Triglycerides are manufactured in liver from alcohol sugar jaggery and starchy foods. Reduce these in diet. Increase intake of traditionally healthy foods like yoghurt cheese nuts eggs butter etc. It will improve triglycerides and is healthy for heat. For more information please discuss on phone. A triglyceride level of less then 300 mg/dl needs not to be treated with fenofibrinates.
Asian population have high levels of triglycerides due to our genetics.In case you want to start medication ,start with low dose of statin like atorvastatin, they effect triglycerides also, and are safer then fenofibrinates.
45 min of strenous exercise should be done every day, 30 minutes of walk at speed not less then 5.1 km/hr should be done daily
avoid ghee ...more

Thanks for the information. Some loss of memory is accetable when we age. Daily brisk walking, meditation and deep breathing exercises are very useful for good functioning of brain. You can also solve some puzzles that come in newspapers or magazines. Playing chess with a friend is a helpful strategy. Keeping a calendar near your bedside with important events marked is helpful. You can also start maintaing diary and write notes of all your activity.
