Know More About Mental Health
Know More About Mental Health

Hi, I am Dr Kanan and I am a clinical psychologist, a homoeopath and a coach. Today I am here with you to talk about the importance of mental health. So, let me ask each of you a question, how many of us teach our children that it is important to wash your hands before you eat? I can bet most of you are raising your hands right, why do we do that? Because we don’t want the germs to go inside we want to teach them physical hygiene isn’t it. And how many of us, let's say, if a child has a cut we quickly run put some Dettol, clean the wound put a Band-Aid on. We teach our children also ki kisiko chot lag jaye toh this is what you should do , we teach our children the importance of first aid right. Well, unfortunately, we are in a world where physical hygiene is very important, where physical first aid is very important but we forget to teach our children the importance of mental hygiene and emotional first aid and may be that’s because we ourselves haven’t really learnt it right.

So it’s very very important that we teach our children how important it is to deal, I think it is important to tell each one of us also that emotions need to be dealt with before we sleep at night. We need to clean our mind of all the kachra we put in it before we sleep at night. we tell our children to focus, focus, concentrate, but we don’t tell our children how to focus, we don’t tell our children how to concentrate. So, mental hygiene and emotional first aid are extremely important from a child to an adult. The way we think the way we feel impacts our immunity, research and science have advanced so much almost to prove that our thoughts drop our immunity or increase it. 10 people go to a beach to eat some food and have some fun 2 or 3 of them fall sick and rest not because their immunity was low. So apart from supplementing yourself with all other ways of increasing your immunity a very important way to increase your immunity is your mental hygiene is largely or emotional first aid like I call it, and this not only helps us deal with school well, you know when your child comes to you and says this boy dint share the Dabba with me, what you say chor do, let it be its ok move on right ! But if the child had a bone cracked up would you say let it be, walk come-on Chalo, we wouldn’t say that. So let’s not have this step motherly treatment towards the way we think the way we feel in our mind because our mind our brain largely controls the way we study largely controls the way we go to offices at large organizations. They teach us about productivity, they teach us about performance. How important it is for you to have your head space your mind space cleared up before you enable teams before you enable business, how important is your mind in business how important is your mind for a child. The mind largely plays a role in the way you think the way you feel the way you communicate and your physical community. So remember next time when you think about handling your physical immunity first think about how will I handle my mind.

If you have any further questions you can feel free to contact me I am Dr Kanan, a clinical psychologist a homoeopath and most importantly a coach for performance and productivity.

Thank you.

Ways to manage Anger and Depression

Hi I'm Dr. Kanan, a Clinical Psychologist and a performance coach.

How many of you get depressed? I can bet some of you are saying "I". And how many of you get angry? The other half are saying "yes", I can almost see that.

Most of us oscillate between being depressed and angry. And it's okay and it's normal. What you need to know is why that happens and how you can help yourself. So depression is something that you turn inwards, right? You get sad and you don't want to go to work, you get lethargic and nothing and nothing in life seems really worth it. And when the same energy is turned outside, it's anger where you are edgy and sensitive and lash out, and the smallest of things seem to irritate you. We swing between these two extremes, so we turn depression inside, maybe want to be kind of rude and mean to ourselves, and anger is something we throw out.

Why would you be rude and mean to another? Oh! It was not intentional. I recommed you don't make it intentional to yourself as well. So. what is very important is, and if you see you are stuck in these two extremes and these two patterns, it's very important to find a balance. So that people don't see you as to separate people. Most importantly you will feel at balance. You will be more in your skin, you will be more content and happy. So at Life Cures Wellness clinic we enable you to practice mindful practices, we enable you to be happy, so we use processes like emotional freedom techniques, so that you learn to handle your emotions, have a balance.

At Life Cures we also enable you to use these emotions to empower you so that you can communicate better and be happy because happiness is clearly the way to your productivity. You can feel free to contact me, I'm Dr. Kanan on librate.com. Thank you very much.
