Hello friends!
My name is Dhananjay. Today I am going to talk about bad posture and how to correct it. A significant number of people are suffering from adverse consequences of bad posture yet do not alter these factors which give them the problems. Researchers believe that being in a poorly postured manner while you are standing, sitting or resting put you at risk of various back problems and joint and muscle issues. So if you have not taken care of your posture this is the time you should be aware of it and take care of it. How poor posture is defined? A poor posture is in which your body is positioned irregularly, your spinal curvatures are altered which leads to excessive stresses on your vertebrae, your muscles and your joints which leads to plethora of health problems.
So the problems that arises due to bad posture are neck pain, shoulder pain, upper back pain and long-standing neck pain, shoulder pain and upper back pain can lead to the development of tension in the muscles around your head, leads to headache. Other possibilities may include leg pain which includes your hip pain, knee pain, ankle pain. Physiotherapy is a perfect cure for your posture problem. A skilled physiotherapist can help you evaluate and diagnose your postural traits and help you correct your posture in which your back is straight, your chest is in and out and your abdomen is perfectly tucked in. A physiotherapist uses various techniques such as manual therapy, soft tissue release, Pilates, and corrective exercises to improve your flexibility and strength. I will demonstrate to you a few exercises and cues to correct your sitting posture. So to correct your sitting posture you go all the way behind and sit with your back in contact with the back rest of your chair.
Sit erect, your tummy tucked in properly, your shoulder blades squeezed behind and hold them there for 5 seconds and relax. Then your chin tuck in, hold your chin straight and tuck it in and then relax. This is how you can correct your spine posture and your hands rested on the hand rest of a chair. This is how you can correct your sitting posture. Make sure your feet are also supported by sitting in your posture. If you are working in front of your desk you can pull your chair inside the desk and make sure that your screen level is at a high level so no excessive strain is coming on your neck. This is how you can correct your sitting posture. Hope you understood all the exercises and tips to improve your posture.

Hi!
I am Umar Khan. I am a strength trainer at heal institute. We have four centres: one in Khar, one in Andheri, one in Worli and one in Colaba. I am practicing strength and conditioning training at Colaba centre. Strength and conditioning services are something like you are training a person considering his or her basically current fitness level, age, movement’s pattern, his medical condition, injuries, day to day life activities.
Physiotherapy service is something like if you have any sports injury or pain if you have something like back pain, if you have shoulder pain, if you have knee pain okay or if you have something like injuries like osteoporosis, arthritis, tennis elbow or like spine issues that's what physiotherapy service needed and it helps to reduce your pain and to make you feel better in your day to day life activity. Sports massage services is something like if you have muscle tightness if your flexibility is weak if you have pain that's why basically massage is needed. Why? Because it helps to improve your blood flow in your body, overall basically the muscles and it helps in your day to day life activity to improve the mobility of the joint. Strength training is important.
Why? Because strength training helps to build up muscle mass and muscle mass helps to improve your day to day life activity. Take it as an example like if you are sitting on a floor and getting up or basically you are walking, you are climbing stairs for all those activities you need muscles and muscle is an active tissue, that's why you have to do strength training to improve your performance in your day to day life activity. Hello all,
This is Dr. Nilesh Makwana. I am a physiotherapist by profession and I am practicing since 10 years in Mumbai. I have done my specialization in spine and various other certifications from different institute which is regarding spine, sports science and sports physiotherapy. Knee joint is one of the major weight bearing joint in the body. Majority of our weight whether we do stair climbing, going for a walk or some of the activities, knee joint is one of the major joints which is always under the stress. Stress being this is always under the pressure and if you do not have a proper strengthening of your thigh muscle, your calf muscle, your hip region muscles there are high chances that you may get some sort of aches or pains or some sort of injuries as well whether you are a normal individual lifestyle whether you are living in normal individual lifestyle or athletic population.
We have treated many of the knee conditions which are having not exactly the knee problem but the knee problem has occurred due to the hip problems as well. So it’s always better to evaluate, examine properly if at all is there any knee issues or knee pain in relation to either hip or ankle. We also have a foot assessment that can also one of the major contributing factor for the knee pain. If at all anybody is runner and having the knee pain after the running or during the run, we try to evaluate the foot as well. Foot basically because there is a ground reaction force it can negatively impact the knee in terms of pressure and as per the ground reaction force as well. So this makes us a completely different holistic approach in terms of treating the knee cases as well. Thank for watching this video. You can contact me on lybrate.com.

Hello all,
This is Dr. Nilesh Makwana. I have done my specialization in spine and various other certification from different institute which is regarding spine, sports science and sports physiotherapy. Our centre at Worli we are located just beside Poddar hospital on Annie Besant road. You can get in touch with us via all the online digital platforms. This heal institute is running since 2012 and we are specialized in sports medicine and sports physiotherapy sessions.
Spine is basically one if the most flexible structure in our body. Spine is basically of S shape, so S for spine, S for S-shape and we need to actually work on the spine flexibility day in and day out. When I see many of my patients having squared back posture or flat back posture due to some of the variations in terms of their work habits, their strengthen conditioning or their gym habits, they are actually having lot of back issues and lower back pain so we try to deal with them in a particular way where they are able to lift the amount of pounds they used to be with proper rehabilitation under our guidance. I have been treating this cases since last 5 years now and I have seen many great improvements right from chronic spine disease to some of the chronic debilitative spine disorders which is like having pain since 15-20 years. So any spine related issues that you want to get in touch with, you can touch with me at heal institute.

Frozen shoulder is a condition when somebody encounters continuous shoulder stiffness and pain. It could last for weeks. It is likely to occur when swelling increases around the shoulder which reduces inability to move or stretch properly. This ordinarily happens when somebody is recovering from an injury. Frozen shoulder at times happens when somebody is wearing a sling or a cast. It also occurs, if someone is recovering from surgery, experiencing joint pain or facing restraint of movement for other reasons.
