Hi lybrate-user just go for a simple surgery. No need for any chemo or radiation. Surgery could mean either removal of the entire tumor or just a simple stoma. However stoma would entail daily toileting by relatives and self. Our aim here would be quality of life rather than curing cancer. A complete Surgery would mean removal of the entire tumor. Surgery done via Robotic or Laparoscopy will be preferable at his age.

Dear Mr.Jitendra There are many studies done which have established preoperative radiation along with chemo tablet followed by surgery. The evidence says that first line of treatment should be preoperative Radiation because that will shrink the tumor and give clear margins.
