Hi doc have tested my blood sugar today the result has been good fasting sugar has gone down to 115 nd PP is 215. How do I control after eating as I just had 2 eggs with bread sandwiches. Medication im taking is Glycomet Gp2 500 mg twice before meals nd tab januvia 100 mg bedtime. Please advice.

Please avoid white bread. Take whole grain bread. High protein like egg is good in breakfast.

Mr Ankur, Thanks for the query. Good control is considered when FBG is <100 mg, PP is 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c%<6.8. (which is not mentioned). Your levels are still high. To bring down to desired values, you will have to give careful look at your diet and exercise. Bread (bakery items ) should be totally avoided. You may have to increase the intake of green leafy vegetables and salads. Plus take exact amount of calories based on your weight and physical activity. Thanks.
