Hi My baby is one month old. He does not suck ma nipples. He is not taking breast feed. Please suggest me what should I do. 1.

If you have retracted nipples you may try using nipple shield. Sometimes it is possible to pull out the nipples with regular practice. Get the baby examined to make sure here is no problem with the baby. As a last resort you can give some infant milk formula.

Get breast examination done to see any problems with nipple. U need to see a pediatrician to check if the suck of baby is good. Or is there any other problem. Be confident and stick to breast feeding. If the baby is not gaining weight then alternative s like formula milk needs to be started.
