Is it mandatory to take streptomycin injection in spinal cord Tuberculosis or only Akurit 4 will cure it? Also if there is pus near by hip region of spinal cord than it is curable by taking medicine or not?

better drain pus if possible and streptomycin not mandatory. TB drugs are to be given as per weight and Akurit 4 may not fit as per your weight

Please It is not mandatory Repeat the scan after 3 weeks of treatment, if pus is decreased, surgery will be postponed Otherwise Surgical removal is needed.
