She is carrying 13 weeks baby, fetus is well developed, but she is having ovarian cyst too, her private doctor said baby is fine and cyst has no problem to baby and she should take bed rest, she went to govt. Hospital there Dr. Said they have to do abortion and remove the baby. Please do consult right thing her age is 36 n after 2 years of marriage she conceived. It would be hard to take this decision.

The pregnancy seems to be precious too. We only need to remove ovarian cyst is if it undergoes torsion or if they are suspecting it's cancerous and may be dangerous for patients life. The information you have given is too less to reply more than this. There are tests to clarify the nature of cyst and whether we can wait for 6 more months til delivery to save the baby and so something about the cyst.

Hello, According to my experience your wife can conceive or give birth to a healthy child even if she is having cyst, rest all depends upon the size of the cyst. You can have second opinion from some other doctor too.

All depends on nature of cyst on USG. Even if needs removal, only removing cyst without touching the baby seems appropriate. But aging examination and USG finding ll only guide.
