My wife Age 34 is suffering from Schizophrenia .Please suggest medicine that will not increase Blood sugar, Cholesterol and Prolactin hormone and muscle Cramp.

Newer one causes hyperlipidemia and increased glucose le. Vel..Yet there are few drugs which doesn't increase glucose lipid or prolactin level. They are Aripiprazole ,Zyspuradone and perhaps Lusiradone. However there may other side effects like Restlessness Called akathisia and cardiac side effects and so o e should only discuss the case with a Medical specialist and should not dare to give these drug himself.

Schizophrenia is treatable with medicines but one can't predict that it's curable. It means one can have remission of symptoms with medicines but symptoms can reoccur if proper treatment is not taken. Schizophrenia is a continuous illness and with proper medicines it can be treated.
