We are an NGO. We have staff going to the field for our work. As there is a prevalence of Swine flu in chamber area, do we need the staff to get a vaccination? Are there any side effects? Is it necessary for all staff to have it or only some people. Kindly advice.

You can get vaccinated as the area is endemic . H1N1 influenza virus vaccine is a "killed virus" vaccine and will not cause you to have any side effects with the flu virus that it contains..All those who to field are to be vaccinated Swine influenza (novel H1N1 and H3N2v) spreads from person to person, either by inhaling the virus or by touching surfaces contaminated with the virus, then touching the mouth or nose. Infected droplets are expelled into the air through coughing or sneezing.
