HI, Pain in the legs and joints after typhoid are due to weakness developed in the body after suffering from the infection. Eat nutritious food - rich in protein so as to gain strength. Consume lot of fresh and dry fruits. Take adequate rest. Apply analgesic gels or sprays to the affected areas twice or thrice a day.

You should use simple analgesics like paracetamol or anti inflammatories like diclofenac for 5-7 days. You may be suffering from post-infectious reactive arthritis. This commonly occurs after a bout of stomach infection, like typhoid.
