I have itchy red spots on my glans and foreskin. I had similar spots 5 years ago too. They are never painful and keep coming and going back. Sometimes even unnoticed, Can this be herpes? I never had unprotected sex and maybe once touched someone private parts and then touched myself again on the glans (Maybe) can I still have herpes? Is this herpes or some other kind of infection/allergy.

Dear lybrate user. I understand. There are multiple conditions that can cause a rash on the penis or in the groin. Rashes are commonly itchy and can be caused by something as simple as an irritation to certain soaps or something as complex as an infection caused by fungus, an STD or pubic lice. You should consult a doctor for physical investigation and treatment. Take care.
