Not really, high uric acid is itself is not a big problem. 'Lasi' part in lasilactone (furosemide) can increase uric acid a bit. I will only worry if he had gout. Slightly higher uric acid might also be due to poor diet and exercise, rather than drug alone. Sometimes other diseases like diabetes can also cause increase uric acid.
