Hi Doctor, I am 29 year old and currently having heavy bleeding like periods but my last date was 20 july, so please advise what to do now. I have a 5 month old baby.

Dear Lybrate user. I understand. Some women may experience bleeding about 10-14 days after their period. This is usually caused by a temporary drop in levels of the hormone oestrogen at the time of ovulation (when an egg is released by an ovary). This is quite normal. Secondly you could be experiencing your periods for the first time after the delivery. In any case, consult your gynecologist for advise. Take care.
