Hello doctor, I'm pregnant and my period date was 18 April. According to me 4th month is going to complete if I count with April. Should I count April month or should not count it.

Dear lybrate user. I can understand. The development of pregnancy is counted from the first day of the woman's last normal menstrual period (LMP), even though the development of the fetus does not begin until conception, which is about two weeks later. You must count April dates if your last menstruation date is in April. Take care.
