I am in my 12 week of pregnancy and my doctor gave me hcg injection biweekly and progesterone injection weekly. I have read that during 12 week the baby is about the size of lemon and we can feel it when we touch our lower abdomen but I cannot feel any thing .can it be possible that the baby is not growing. I am very concerned pls help.

Dear lybrate user. I can understand. Yes. You read it right. From crown to rump, your baby-to-be is just over 2 inches long (about the size of a lime) and weighs half an ounce. But the internal growth is too rapid at this period. But you will not be able to identify any of the internal growth at this time except through ultra sound. Please do not panic. If there is any problem, your obstetrician will appraise you about it. Worrying cause stress and depression and it in turn can cause other problems and could affect the womb. Be pleasant and worry free and try to be happy always. Take care.
