You are nursing a huge misconception! Cochlear Implant is not an improvement over hearing aid! It is merely the next and very expensive alternative to those whose deafness is profound and cannot be aided with the most powerful hearing aids! Hearing quality is pathetic when perceived by a post lingually deaf person but it is the only option available to the deafening silence! Please meet a good Audiologist to help you out!

Hello, as you have mentioned you are already having hearing aid. I hope its benefitting you. Cochlear implant is for those people who have profound or in common terms the hearing loss which is very severe. If you are benefitting with hearing aid do not change it. If you feel you are not able to hear properly change the hearing aid.
