Give hot water fomentation to the eye as often as possible. If you are feeling feverish or has pain near the ears or while swallowing, you may need systemic antibiotics. Alternatively use any plain antibiotic eye ointment at night to ward off further infection.

I think you are having stye . Styes are infection of Moll & zeis gland present in every body eye lids ,basically infected by staphylococci.styes are very painful swelling near the root of eye lashes, you need oral antibiotics&anti inflammatory tablet as well as antibiotic ointment to apply locally.Hot fomentation helps to some extent in styes.
