Suffering from knee pain for last 3 weeks. Age 29, pain on my left knee, consulted doctor on the first week of diagnosis took nights and ketoprofen as still there was no improvement took xray and MRI. Xray found ok and MRI findings are Linear oblique PD hyperintense signal is noted involving posterior horn of the medial meniscus with no definite extensn post margins suggest of grade 2 signal changes. Mild synovial inflamtry changes are seen along posteromedial margin of posterior horn of medial meniscus. Anterior nd posterior horns of lateral Meniscus appear normal. Others: intermediate T2 W/PD signal is noted involving predominant the posterior two third of patellar attachment of patellar tendon suggestive of likely tendinopathy. Mild knee effusion is noted in suprapatelar recess and intr condylr notch. Currently undergoing physiotherapy on my 3rd week and swelling persists on top of my left knee which makes me uncomfortable with pain on lateral movements. Kindly advice what kind of treatment I need to take. Whether this affects my future or not? Please revert back asap.
