Hello greetings, I am doing bodybuilding for 4 yrs. But no results. But from past 2 months I have been morning empty stomach whey protein with l arginine 1g after 3 min I hav sum small meal lyk toast or egg white may 3 egss, after dt I go to office thn after 2 pm I hav a medium meal. At 5 pm I reach home thn I take 25g of protein thn I go to gym hav sum pre workout after 1.15 hr if workout I take immediate whey protein, 5g of glutamine powder, l arginine 1g, vitamin c 1g, evion e 600g, 1 tab multivitamin, 1 tab lubrijoint plus. After I reach home I drink at least 1/half water after 5 min I take 1spoonful of peanut butter after 10 pm I hav a meal lyk chicken rice daal, before sleeping I take 25g of protein. I needed to know my left side of kidney pains sometime at nyt and afternoon. So plzz sir I need a suggestion wt to do. (Thr hav been improvement in muscle growth when I start taken l arginine)

Dear lybrate-user, While it is important to get proteins, you need a balanced food including Carbs, fat, and fiber. Excess protein is not good for kidneys. Please consult a dietician for balanced food. Keep in mind, workout needs to be in relation to your BMR, BMI, and food. Also, consider checking if you have any metabolic issues.
