Hi doctor I've got married 4 years back and I'm suffering from thyroid and with pcod. We are planning for baby from 4-5 months. My last date is august 14th and this time we planned perfectly according to dates is there any chances to get pregnant. And my husband has HBS Ag as positive. Does it effect my pregnancy. Please reply. Eagerly waiting for your answer.

Hi lybrate-user! I hope your thyroid is controlled and you're taking folic acid supplements. If your cycles are regular then you can try naturally for few months. Get your husbands Semen analysis done. Also you'll need more tests. Since your husband is HbsAg positive, get your vaccination done. Better to consult an infertility specialist. All the best. Regards
