I have some kind of a lump on my knee for a lot of time. When I touch it, it feels kind a hard protrusion. I have consulted a lot of doctors regarding this problem but I am not getting proper guidance because all of them tell me to ignore it. The main problem is that it hurts a lot. And at the end of the day my legs feel swollen. Please give me proper guidance.

A knee lump can represent a joint deformity due to a chronic inflammatory condition such as arthritis or a deformity that arises following any kind of injury to the joint. Consult an orthopedic for the same as he will perform additional test to findout underlying pathology and if everythings seems to be normal, talk to him about pain as he may prescribe you some painkillers.
