Two months ago I had UTI. On getting tests done, calcium oxalate was found in my urine culture and also there was presence of E. Coli. I took levofloxacin for 7 days twice a day. Now again it has relapsed. There is always a burning sensation without micturition. I have stopped taking calcium though I am calcium deficit. I was also diagnosed of polycystic ovarian syndrome. Kindly suggest medication and precaution. I have not had physical relationship for last 3 months as my husband is not here.

You should take the calcium supplements. Upto 1 gm a day is acceptable. Drink a lot of water to keep the urine dilute always. Local hygiene is important. Take Syp Cital 15 ml diluted in a glass of water after meals twice a day until the burning sensation stops. You may have to take an adequate course of culture specific antibiotics.
