What is difference between Glycomet GP1 and Glinzihenz 60 mg. My Fasting Sugar is 100 mg and Sugar at random 294 mg. I have been taking Glycomet GP1 for last 6 years.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. The blood glucose level random is too high, suggesting no control on diabetes. It means Glycomet GP1 is not enough. There is a need for additional treatment. As regards Tab Glinzihenz, I am not aware what it contains. It is better if the contens are mentioned. Ideally blood glucose should be maintained as follows: FBG:< 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% <6.8. Then it is considered s good control and that helps prevent or postpone long term complications of diabetes. Thanks.
