Tonsillopharyngitis since 20 days. Medications taken: Amoxicillin and clavulanic acid taken for 5 days BD next course ZOCEF CV 500 BD for 8 days levocetirizine 5 mg OD at night from last 15 days And Betadine gargle thrice a day (Both levo and gargle, I stopped 3 days earlier.) Yet I can see vesicles on my Thorat. What should be my management now?

Hi dear it is better to have a throat examined for any visible local infection or pus points. At ent opd. However please do continue to girgle. Hope this helps.

If after taking antibiotics for 13 days, and doing betadine gargle 3 times a day, still you can see vesicles in the throat, you need to take a swab for bacterial culture and antibiotic sensitivity, and take culture specific antibiotics. Please consult an ENT surgeon who will do the needful in this regard.
