None of the fruits will help you lower your blood glucose. Fruits have natural sugar but good fibre so all citrus fruits, watery fruits can be eaten.

Hello, Thanks for the query. Following fruits can be taken by a person with diabetes: Papaya, watermelon, pomegranate, apple, pear, guava, orange, sweet lime. Fruits like banana, mango, grapes and chikkoo should be avoided. First and foremost is to achieve a strict blood glucose control with fasting < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% <6.8. Then one can take 1 to 2 servings of the fruits a day. Fruits do not reduce blood glucose. Thanks.
