I got a tooth extracted surgically. A premolar on the right and got stitches too. It has been 6 days or so since I got my tooth extracted and got my stitches opened up yesterday. It has been since 6 days since my dimple is not appearing on my right cheek. I thought it would appear after I get my stitches opened but it is not appearing. May I know the reasons for it and when will it appear back or will it appear again or not. Please help respond. I am very worried about this issue.

Hi lybrate-user you can wait for some more days for the wound to heal completely .And then see about getting your dimple .As it is a premolar I think if you replace it with artificial tooth you will surely get it as you muscles in that area won't get drowned.
