Hello doctors. I went for testing in lal path lab main laboratory in delhi. They used vaccutainer system to draw my blood. They used a fresh needle. But the vaccutainer needle holder was reused and it might have had a little blood on it. Should I be concerned for blood borne infections. Or was it safe. I asked the person who drew my blood and he told me that it is safe and there is no possibility of infection. I am really worried please answer the question thank u.

It seems that you are a panicky personality. That way why only talk about needle holder, technician is same, his or her hands are same, chair is same. Bottom line is nothing contributes to any risk factor.
