My father had intracerebral hemorrhagic stroke 25 days before due to high blood pressure and diabetes. His right side is paralysed and he has difficulty speaking and swallowing. Doctors said operation is not possible and medications are given. Please tell me how long it will take to recover and are there any chances of stroke again. Will the bleeding in brain cure by tablets only?

It might take 3-6 months for reasonable recovery. It depends on how aggresive you will do physiotherapy. Yes there is a chance of rebleed if his BP is not controlled. Just keep a watch on BP and do proper physiotherapy. Bleed will resolve on its own.
