Many people complain about lumps on multiple places in their body. I know that not every lump is cancerous, how can one determine that without visiting a hospital or going through scan and burning their pockets. Can these non cancerous lumps be treated at home with home remedies? If so, please share those details.

Dear Lybrate user, most lumps on our body are usually non cancerous a.k.a benign. Anything that waxes and wanes with time is usually non cancerous. One which is static for years is non cancerous. Most such tumors need no treatment. Most such benign tumors are diagnosed without scans by doctors as well without burning your pocket. But sometimes you need an imaging or biopsy to rule out cancer. I can try to diagnose a problem in my car without going to mechanic and save money by reading a lot of stuffs, but if some thing goes wrong then I am fully responsible. Hope you get the point.
