Hi lybrate-user, Hope your mother is taking the tuberculosis medicines regularly. That's the basic for tuberculosis treatment and cure. Usually patients will have skin irritation and stomach upset for tuberculosis medication. Shivering and sweating will be present during the early infection period around first 2 to 3 months. Do not worry about the symptoms. It will be alright once she is taking the medicines regularly. And during the first 2 months the medicines dosage will be little higher than next 4 months drugs. And I could not get her age and other co morbids like diabetes status, any medications etc. Be confident and assure her that the symptoms will be reduced in upcoming months. Get well soon!
