Why is it not advised to travel in pregnancy? I Is traveling not advisable only in first trimester of for the entire 9 months? There in complications in pregnancy.

Usually very long or hectic travel is to be avoided in first 3 mths and last 2 mths of pregnancy. In first 3 mths to decrease the chances of miscarriage as even a slight disturbance can cause abortion. In last 2 mths so as to reduce the chances of premature delivery where baby can be at risk due to low weight and prematurity. From 4th to 7th month travel can be safe provided pregnancy otherwise is uncomplicated, bp, wt gain of baby, sonography reports, everything is normal & there is no history of bleeding or spotting in pregnancy.
