My daughter completed 1 years 4 months after vaccination her left thigh was swelling mo pain she is walking as usual we contact doctor they said no problem after it was gone but now again it appears on same place please suggest me whether its problem or not.

Usually at 16 months DTP can cause swelling/fever and it will subside of its own. No intervention is needed but if the iinjection was given more superficial an abscess can happen and its a very rare thing. For swelling no need to worry untill your child complain of pain. For next DTP vaccine at 5 years remind your Pediatrician to give vaccine deep intramuscular. Thank you.
