In my x ray of chest there is inhomogeneous opacity seen in lt. Lower zone. Summation of vascular marking? Consolidation. Both hila appear prominent.

Inhomgenous opacity may mean anything starting from infection to advanced diseases Ideally any radiology report must be correlated clinically .A prominent hilar shadow on the chest x-ray suggests sarcoidosis, pulmonary hypertension or lymphoma. Other considerations include tuberculosis or a fungal infection, However, in some cases the isolated x-ray abnormality is not significant for any disease. To evaluate it further, a CT-scan and an electrocardiogram would be needed. Consult a pulmonologist for the same.
