Prostate measures 46.7 c.c.Grade 2 prostatomegaly. PSA is 1.076.phleboliths seen in pelvis. Marginal anterior osteophytes are seen at L3 to L5. Feel lower back and hips pain. Is surgery needed for prostate enlargement? Doing normal day to day normal things.

Respected Sir 1.Now a days ,many new medicines are being used to manage prostatic enlargement medically. 2.The only indications for surgery are: a.Acute Urinary Retention due to prostatic obstruction. B.Recurrent Urinary Tract Infections presumably caused by bladder outlet obstruction. C.Bladder Stones associated with prostatic enlargement.
