Hi I was recently diagnosed with Liver abscess, the pus was removed and it was nearly 150g and doctors advised me to take antibiotics like calpol, stafcure and metrogyl to dry the infected area. I just wanted to ask that, what was the cause of liver abscess in my body. I smoked cigarettes, I never touched alcohol, I ate outside food but weekly, I drink cold drinks with caffeine every 2 days and I suffered from typhoid repeatedly (s.typhi),it was my third time I suffered typhoid when I came to know about the liver abscess, the period was of nearly 1 year, 3rd time in a year. Can anybody explain me what was it cause? Thanks.
